I have seen a lot of people taking a break from their regular work routine and decide to take a vacation with their family. Some of them tend to get panic instead of getting thrilled. The reason is that they won't be engaging in any physical exercises during the trip and start losing what they have gained from all their hard work.
Vacation would mean that you go all out and not worry about work at all. It should bring you into a complete state of mind where you can relax your mind and body at the same time. However this does not mean that you become so laid back that you cannot do anything at all after your vacation is over about your shape.
It is normal for anyone to put on a little weight after vacation but to go terribly out of shape during a vacation is a bad thing. Therefore you should do your bit to keep in shape when you are on a vacation.

If you are going to the beach on a vacation then you should decide to play some beach sports like the Frisbee or volleyball that will help you stay in shape.
