In order to maintain a proper fluid balance in our body we need to drink the right quantity of water. The body is estimated to contain 60 to 70 percent of water. Water also plays in important role in regulating the body temperature and act as a medium for the nutrients in the body to reach the organs.


There are some people who don't realize the benefits of drinking water daily for their body inspite knowing that eight glasses of water is needed daily. The requirement is more for athletes and people working in warmer environments.

There benefits of drinking water is even related to kidneys. A lack of water would allow the kidneys to dump their work to the liver and liver will not perform well by not metabolizing the fat as it should do.

Cold drinking water is not only more refreshing after working out or physical activity, it is also easily absorbed into your body stream than warm or hot water. Drinking water do not bring any additional calories into your system like other drinks available in the market. Drinking cold water not only burns the calories in the stomach and does not bring additional calories into your system.

The human skin is made u of 90 percent water. Therefore, water is highly essential to maintain a healthy and good looking skin. Water helps to replenish skin cells, moisturize the skin, and maintain and increase the elasticity of skin.

Incase of fever, increased water intake is important in order to prevent dehydration.It helps promote better perspiration which gives a cooling effect on the body and bring down the high temperature.Developing a water habit is a good precaution against dehydration. The benefits of drinking water is endless and nevertheless it called the elixir of human life.
