Working out regularly, maintaining a good diet with sufficient sleep everyday is pretty much necessary to lead a long, hale and healthy life. There is no doubt about this. And everybody invariably gets concerned about their weight at some point of the time in their lives. Everything you do or pursue has to be done in a way. There is a perfect way to achieve an expected end result. There are also other ways which might lead you to troubles. Everything has its own pros and cons. These words stand pretty much true even when it comes to achieving fitness to lead a healthy, happy peaceful life.

Firstly, you have to have tremendous determination and will power to stick with the course. Secondly, you need to be very patient when it comes to achieving it. It takes a while depending on how much you need to reduce. There are always do’s and don’ts even when it comes to exercising and fitness routines. The do’s are pretty simple and they are stay focused, be determined and patient, stick with the course.

When it comes to don’ts some of the points mentioned below help you figure out how to handle your workout regime.

1. Don’t rely on Cardio too much to shred pounds. Cardio does help you to reduce weight and increase your stamina. But your body can take only so much. Do not overdo cardio in order to reduce weight as your body will become too weak when it is pushed beyond its limit. Of course, you need to figure out what’s your limit which entirely depends on the individual.

2. Do not do your exercise quicker. Don’t race through the reps while you work out with weights. You need to focus on your muscles for an effective work out. The reps should be conducted at a normal speed.

3. Don’t do one kind of cardio exercise. This simply means that don’t just stick to the bike for sweating or even treadmill for that matter. Divide your cardio time equally and focus on every machine.

4. Don’t aim to stay in fat burning zone. The longer you exercise, the better it is when it comes to cardio. It is not about reducing fat, it is about performing the exercise at a comfortable pace, especially if you have joint problems etc.

5. Never skip the warm-up. Your muscles need to be stretched and relaxed to be focused upon properly. Without warming up, you can pull muscles badly or even tear muscles under worst scenarios. Start with a nice walk before jogging in treadmills.

6. Do not over crunch your abs while working on it. Take breaks between reps and while performing the exercise as well. It helps to shape up your abs better.

7. Don’t do the same weight circuit forever. Keep changing the style for better results.

8. Do not do only yoga. Try to divide your yoga sessions with aerobics

9. Do not run at a steady pace. Keep regulating it as per your comforts.

10. You should be physically active at all times and not just during working out.
